“Among 101 Best Restaurants in America” – The Daily Meal

The Oyster Club has received accolades and glowing reviews from publications ranging from the New York Times to Saveur, a gourmet food and travel magazine.

Our architecture firm’s challenge was to sensitively renovate and expand an historic Mystic, CT building into a restaurant and bar. The design, inspired by nearby boatsheds, incorporates a pair of one-story buildings flanking the historic structure. The exterior and interior of the dining room are clad in rustic wood and feature tall windows and industrial and gallery style lighting. Clapboard runs along the interior walls of the zinc topped bar area.

Our design received an overwhelming approval from the Mystic Historic District Commission.
